The vision for New Jackson is to become a thriving new community within the city. A world-class skyscraper district with inspiring architecture, which is already transforming the city skyline.
Renaker has taken what was underutilised brownfield land within Manchester city centre to create a unique area through working with leading architect, SimpsonHaugh. We aim to develop an aspirational new neighbourhood, delivering high-quality, spacious homes and desirable amenities, where communities can thrive.
We are approximately 6 years into a 15-year masterplan. Progress is well underway to date with more than 2,500 new homes already delivered, 939 homes under construction, and almost a further 3,000 in the pipeline.
We plan to create substantial public spaces improvements from green space to educational, and medical facilities, and the neighbourhood will also be connected via several new pedestrian and cycle pathways focused on creating sustainable travel routes for the local community. The total value of these improvements is in excess of £25 million.

Learning & Education
Crown Street Primary School will be the first primary school to be built within the city centre in almost two decades. Due to open in 2024, it will offer spaces for 210 pupils, and 26 nursery places for the local community.
A smoke-free public park over 1 acre in size will provide much-needed green space for residents and the local community. It will also comprise of a children’s play area providing a safe space for children to enjoy.

New Jackson is home to a variety of local, independent bars and restaurants, catering to all tastes, including Atomeca, a European drinkery and wine bar, Salvi’s serving home-cooked Italian cuisine and Kitten, a Japanese fine-dining restaurant. All operators are open 7 days a week for total convenience.
Health & Wellness
New Jackson will have a variety of health and wellness services including a medical centre serviced by the NHS, as well as a private health & wellness clinic, CLNQ, and a dentist.
Shop & Leisure
A curated selection of shops and leisure facilities is on offer including Flourish, an award-winning local florist, General Store – the ultimate convenience store championing local food and drink makers, and cookery school Food Sorcery, specialising in team building and sociable cookery classes, all led by expert chefs.
